I need a moan !

Ok so its been a bad year. I had a problem with some faulty canvas primer which cracked causing the paint to flake of the canvas which destroyed nearly 4 months work. I then spent the next 3 months trying to repaint those images only to get pissed off with them. My heart wasn't in it and convinced that the originals were better I destroyed most of that work myself. Was feeling pretty uninspired for a while after that !
On a more positive note though I got a couple paintings done for Blue Leaf Gallery to take to "Art London" recently and I am now feeling that buzz for work again. I'm itching to get cracking on a great years painting ahead.

Glad to see you are feeling the itch to do some more work, dying to see more of your sketches and paintings, keep up the work bud, whatever you may think, its looking great as ever, talk to you soon

  4. hey shane, thanks for the comment on my blog. My little complaint about not being able to finish anything seems pretty small in comparison to what you've had to put up with with losing all that great work. But I'm glad to hear you're getting back into it. Your new painting is fantastic, beautiful light. Looking forward to seeing more :)

  5. Hey Shane, Sorry to hear about the primer, I was wondering why we haven’t seen any new work from you lately. Do you have any plans on an exhibition in Ireland? I would love to see your art in person.

  6. Mostly I have been selling work overseas the last couple of years, art market in Ireland has been struggling. But I do plan to start working towards a solo show now and would hope to have it in Ireland sometime in the next twelve months ! (fingers crossed)

    I'll keep you posted.
